This manufacturing process compresses the aluminum alloy to produce a denser, stronger wheel while removing excess material that adds unnecessary weight. As a result, the FI-R delivers enhanced handling and acceleration, crucial for both track enthusiasts and daily drivers seeking superior driving dynamics. This balance allows for improved suspension response and reduced rotational mass, elevating overall vehicle performance without sacrificing durability.

Flow Forming Technology for Superior Durability

Flow forming is a key feature of the BBS FI-R Forged Aluminum 1-Piece wheel. This advanced technique stretches and compresses the barrel of the wheel after forging, creating a structure that combines the toughness of a forged wheel with the lightweight benefits of a flow-formed design. This process improves wheel strength and impact resistance and allows for precise control over the wheel’s dimensions. The resulting product is not only lightweight but also resistant to warping and cracking, making it ideal for high-performance applications and demanding road conditions.

Precision Engineering and Stylish Design

BBS is renowned for blending performance with aesthetics, and the FI-R Forged Aluminum 1-Piece wheel exemplifies this heritage.
